I have been here for a little while, but thought i would go ahead and post in introduction. I like playing orks and tau. 40k only right now but might be interested in warmachine. I have about 1k in orks and about 2k in tau. I still am learning and have been trying to read a lot of posts and reply what i can. Still, I guess its from being new, but don't receive many post on my topics. They seems to be what everyone is asking about or commenting on in the forum. In truth I am new to warhammer 40k forums.

Yes, some of my threads fall flat too, but being new doesn't really have anything to do with it.
As far as I can tell a good thread is one that encourages people to have a good ramble about something that they haven't rambled about recently or haven't blown off enough steam about in a similar thread.
Try to avoid posting topics where one person can provide the answer. A thread will soon gather interest if everyone can express an opinion which is what Dakkaites like doing best.

As far as I can tell a good thread is one that encourages people to have a good PRAISE AND WORSHIP OF THE EMPRAHS NAME about something that they haven't PRAISED AND WORSHIPPED HIS NAME about recently or haven't blown off enough steam about in a similar thread.
Try to avoid posting topics THAT ARE HERETICAL. A thread will soon gather interest if THE EMPRAH DEEMS IT WORTHY which is what Dakkaites like doing best.
