Few questions about the TC and LOS. Since the TC has 3 separate ammunition types, does the TC or the Tech have to have LOS to the target? Or does the TC have an indirect firing ammunition?

I read the entry in the SM and it's listed as artillery; doesn't say anything about barrage or LoS issues.

Played against one yesterday, and came up.

Is the TLC listed as having Barrage? IIRC, it's not. Which means that all of it's firing modes need LOS for both the gun and the operator (per Artillery rules, page 55).

None of the TFC's ammos are barrage, so you need LoS as normal.

The eye of terror.

Artillery does not equal indirect fire in 40k. Also, as a real world example, think of the flak 88 guns that the Germans used in WWII as direct-fire anti-tank.

More battle-cannon. Think the WWII movies where the black bursts of shrapnel are exploding all around the airplanes: those were flak 88, IIRC.

So.... battlecannon that points at the sky.

That looks more like a 1 barrelled hydra to me

Then again, when I think Flak Cannon I think of the 2 cm Flakvierling 38

Well... it had an 88 CM bore... so almost 3 feet across... that's more battlecannon than autocannon in my book... also the fact that it fired explosive rounds... definitely battlecannon, despite the Apoc rules that blast weapons can't target fliers... which is dumb.

Here's the hydra, from your link:

Haha, good call... my math is full of fail. So about 3.5 inches across... I guess that's pretty autocannonish... but it's splody!
