At first: Hi at all!

I'm new to dakkadakka. After I saw some of those very impressive galleries (mainly migsula's) i had to start my new project and put in some of this very nice ideas.

The project
- new minis for my SpaceCrusade gaming table at home
- some new rules, to get the classic a bit more detailed

Just look at the pics and form your opinion.

At last: Sry for any bad english in this or my following posts, I'm still learning ;P

Quite nice! The biggerization worked out very smoothly for you.
One note on the painting: you can get a very nice, understated gold/brass finish for your crux by painting it Mithril Silver (or equivalent) then putting a wash of Gryphonne Sepia over it. I think it was Grey Death that first posted the how to on it here, and the results are very nice. By changing number of wash coats you put on you can get some very different, yet still pleasing effects and shades.

Also, your edge highlighting is a little harsh. Using the third, lightest color you have there only on the highest points (relative to the light source) with the median color used and blended a little might get you better results.

Great work so far though!

Almost has a bit of that "Tron" feel to it with the black and bright blue edges.

The 'Biggerizing" you've done seems pretty good as well. Nice work!

O H I am in the Webway...

Those are some very "in your face" highlights. Looks pretty good though. The only problem I have is with the wings on the chest armor. It blends to well with the power armor, IMO it has to much blue in it and feels kinda undone. Maybe hitting it with a brass then gold highlights.

I love the truescale - particularly the pic of the "normal marine" looking up to his big brother! I found that if I used a wash over my highlights that are harsh or a little more than I wanted, it blended them in and toned them down to a manageable and more desireable level.

What harm can it do to find out? It's a question that left bruises down the centuries, even more than "It can't hurt if I only take one" and "It's all right if you only do it standing up." Terry Pratchett, Making Money

"Can a magician kill a man by magic?" Lord Wellington asked Strange. Strange frowned. He seemed to dislike the question. "I suppose a magician might," he admitted, "but a gentleman never could." Susanna Clarke Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell

I love how much more simple your truescale is to every other one I've seen. Can you post some step-by-steps for your means of truescale-ification?
