After some trial and errors i think i might have come up with something i will be happy with. Now i only have to choose which one of these four colors looks the best for what im aming for and that is a little mor gritty look to the armor.
I am leaning towards one of them but i would like to here your oppinions before i go ahead and start painting my minies.

Which one do you like best out of these four (from right to left) and why do you like it more than the onthers, do they have the look i was aming for in your oppinion?
If you have any other ideas or little space wolves painting tricks i would like to here of them to.

Thanks for looking!

And on to another question.
Does anyone know how big Confontation mini Y’Anrylh is compared to a SM terminator?

The one I would choose is the first leg at left. The second leg (the one in the same bit) is a bit too dark. And the other two legs seem a bit dirtyer (damn, how do you spell "more dirty"? lol). The first is perfect IMHO

I have absolutly no idea about your second question

I like leg three, if they were numbered 1234.

Ditto. With leg 1 being a close second.

I'm thinking a poll would've been a good idea. For next time, of course.

Poll will be done next time, promise!

I am leaning towards leg 3 (it was the easiest to do to and i think it will get the best results of the tree on vehicles)as its more grey than the 1 one. Il may try another wash on leg 1 and se how it goes, it might get to dark.. leg 1 or 3 are the same base color and highlights but i used different washes to get the end result, the same goes with 2 and 4

Thanks for the feedback so far!

1: Base color of 60/40 spacewolves grey/shadow grey
2: highlight 1, 50/50 base color/space wolves grey
3: Highlight 2, 50/50 highlight 1/spacewolves grey
4: Highlight 3, a very thin line of pure space wolves grey on some places like the top of the knee pad
5: Washed the model with vertical brush strokes only, from topp, down. Dont let the wash form pools on the topp side of the armor plates.
Leg 1 was made of a 50/50 badab black/shadow grey(wash) wash.
(Edited) Leg 3 was made by only using a badab black was.

Brushes used were a detail brush and a standard brush.

Edit: Correction of a mistake were i wrote leg 2 instead of leg 3

I would say leg 3 is by far the best of the bunch, now go paint a full marine up in leg 3's colours
