I'm hoping to get a battlewagon soon, and I'd like to know what kind of dimensions it has. I'm going to be keeping it open topped, so it's going to be a on the shorter side of things, but I want to know how I can pluck the foam from my Sabol case for it. I've also got a deffrolla, which undoubtedly adds a few inches onto the end of it. So, can anyone who has one of similar stature tell me the dimensions? Thanks!

I think the buggy is about 3" long and 2" wide. That thing is really puny.

A modern trukk is about 3" high, maybe 3.5-4" long, and 3 inches wide.

Still looking to know how big a battlewagon is with a deffrolla.

trukk is much closer to 4.5-5 inches long by my measures. the bed itself is 3x3 inches, then you've got the cab.

A battlewagon has about a 3x5 inch bed and is sometimes implied to be a double-decker. They range from 4-5 inches at the tallest (hard top) and are closer to 3 inches open.

Deffrollas change in size and you are not repeat not required to extend the profile of the vehicle simply to incorporate the rolla. If you choose to, it is like lance tips, wings, or banners - line of sight with to the rolla does not mean the vehicle can be targetted. The problem though is because it is so solid, it usually must be treated differently for base-base contact, so there's a massive rules problem. The new model plays into GW's new and obnoxious bigger is better philosophy and causes a lot of trouble with the rules. I wouldn't extend the thing beyond 9 inches ever...that's sooooo big.

If there is already an issue with the battlewagon, should I expect more issues from TFG with a scratch built?

Your ALWAYS going to find problems with TFG. Thats just the way they are. Id imagine as long as you dont go crazy and it looks more like a battle wagon with a deff rolla instead of an empty kleenex box with some play doh blobs for the rolla youll be fine.

As for the Trukk. Its only a little bit smaller then a battlewagon. I have used old school rhinos (3rd edition) and converted them for my trukks. A simple stretch job to make them wider and a bunch of Orkyness makes them look great. Any problems Ive had so far ( and its really only been once) I just say "look at forgeworlds website on there "Looted trukks" page and tell me its not legal" Worked then lol

Also the "issue" with the BW is an easy fix. Discuss pre-game what actions you two will take with said battlewagon. Problem solved before the game even starts
