Cool, though for some reason it reminds me of a pigeon.

Congratulations, your dismissive and conclusory commentary has provided nothing to this discussion or the wider community on whose behalf you arrogantly presume to speak nor does it engage in any meaningful way the remark it lamely targets. But you did manage to gain experience points toward your next level of internet tough guy.

I don't recall cardboard painting well. I commend your creativity, but I don't know how well the model will keep.

This might sound a bit harsh, but I don't think that this thing is going to survive the rigors of tabletop play. The materials you've used are just not built for any amount of abuse, and I think you'll find this crumpled and misshapen in very short time. I'm sure you could find some form of plastic (old CD case, FOR SALE signage, scavenged toy from thrift shop, etc.) that would serve as better and more sturdy converting fodder.

Besides, as Brother SRM said, there is no way this thing will take paint gracefully...

I'm going to have to agree with Brother SRM,The_Armyman and swbruni, The concept looks cool, but cardboard isn't going to be all that durable.
Get some plasticard, some plastic tubing (old pill bottles or empty GW paint pots) and raid your bits box and try again, belive me your results will be much better.

WIN

@op:
Ive scratch built a couple kanz now and i find legoes+ gundam pieces with tank bits and platicard works very well. As long as your card bord kan holds up to transporting/playing it should be fine. I hope your opponents are cool with you using it.

I totally agree with... everybody, but in particular, Norwulf.
I highly recommend thrift stores as well as the toy isle of Longs, Walgreens, or CVC Pharmacies (in America).
They have more random, cheap toys that don't sell as well, so they are constantly being marked down. I don't know what the Swedish equivalent of these stores would be, but I'm sure you can find something good.
The saw arm on my WIP dread was a cheap $1.19 toy, and the body was $1.99. Well, $3.49 if you include the chicken nuggets

BTW, a GREAT source of plasticard it the Batman: Arkham Assylum Collector's edition packaging. Not the Bat-Box, the actually plastic packaging. It is very sturdy, and there is ton's of it!
Not saying you should pick one up JUST for plasticard... (I would rather just but a $100 worth or styrene) but if you have it laying around, for the love of Gork, make some plate armor out it!

battery packaging can make good plasticard too, the bigger the batteries (like D size) the tougher and orkier the plastic.

i've used old magic cards to make stuff- layer them together with some glue inbetween and you gets something fairly durable

Yeah, use plastic instead of cardboard. Also, it doesn't have to try to look like the existing ones it can look like whatever you want it two. The only real thing that can be used to tell the difference between them is their size.

But, it does look cool
