Seconded.

I mean, a couple of plasma pies, manticore pies and general lascannony goodness and you'll run out of things to fight with, surely? I mean yes termies and landraiders are powerful but only 15 and 3 of each (respectively) @ 2k seems a bit low..

Termies as troops I agree can be useful but its also allowing the other player to ignore those pesky elite termies (which ofc you have none of) and focous on killing your extremely minimal troop-choices - A must for most players in most games - which wont stand up for long unless they have crazy special rules.

You need to look at what you want in your army then fit the Wolf Guard troops around that. Not throw all the points you can find at the Wolf Guard then fit your army around it. This list will be aggrovating by the amount of wound allocation stunts you can pull, alongside the high survivability of the units, but by turn 3 you really won't have a whole lot of the 'elite' force left.

If you want to run a full Terminator list, I think DA do it better. This assumption is based soley on the fact they have Ravenwing to back them up.

It looks like a fun list.

I think it's not really a flexible list though, esp. with objective games and placement, esp. at 2000 points.

In most likelyhood, one LR will be wrecked making the guys hoof it.
If they shoot the CML they are not running, if they run they are not shooting the CML.

Then the other LRC will hit enemy lines and wreck whatever they touch, leaving them open to an army of guns.

/shrug.

To maximize survivability I think you have to look for charging multiple targets and relish not killing enough stubborn troops.

The long fangs seem like they only get one shot off, and then perish as the only other targets on the board are AV 14...

Fun, powerful when it gets to hit the enemy, but not flexible as my summation.

My 7 Cents.

This is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.
Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.

I built a similar list at 2000 but with 4 5 man squads all in drop pods, 1 4 man squad and logan in drop pod, and 2 Dreadnoughts in drop pods. Your list looks like it might not have the ability to win most objective missions. but it does look fun

O H I am in the Webway...

Sorry my troll looking bud, I am not digging this list.

I play deathwing a lot and I verse semi-decent oppnents and I have been playing warhamms for ohhh 3-4 years and am probably the best general at my store (I think this is the saddest part since I have been playing deathwing one summer....)

The thing I constantly come across is that LRC + Termies is a very good rock. Belial and Friends (4x TLC Termies, GKGM, HF/CF + DWB (+1attack) + apoth) is just disguisting in combat. The problem is that they are VERY weak unsupported. I often find myself basing my attack on this unit (for god damned good reason, it's expensive as hell!) and heavily supporting it with IST's and Ravenwing, predators etc. They are the focus. And here lies the problem. Without all that backing, the unit is quite weak. Your and mine both (squads) have sup-par shooting and without their LR's, well um they get %*$&ed in the $*# very hard by most any army when they get out of the LR and are stuck out of assault range... or their ride goes KABOOM!

With this list your game will be made or break on assault. If you don't reach assault, you lose. If you do and your first assault doesn't do enough damage, well sorry but your LR's are dead by meltaguns and the termies better have done their job. WELL. Even if they do one quick melta-volley and poor mr LR is slag... I've had it happen all to much before, those meltaguns are satanic to the precious LR.

With that being said on my main opinion on why if you want to run "mech" loganwing you should just do Deathwing, (more models lol...) I think Stelek has a very nice post about Loganwing.

Good luck on your list though.

AHHHH Makee sense. I actually have to suggest one thing for this list.

Why not try Nob Bikerz SPACEWULF style?

Logan

Woflguard w/ assorted Wargear on bikes

/pwn

Well FOR FUN, I liek. It will absolutlely PWN anything it touches in CC. The only suggestion would be to get an iron priest with saga of the iron wolf to increse SPEEDZ!

True master Gwar!, but you can make them psuedo-pupies =P. Like not big enough to be Thunderwolves but just big enough to hold a swolf. idk haha.
