So I had some time to start building some terrain...

Here are my works in progress.

First up...a Bastion.

Used a "Mega-Jug" from KFC as the tower. A tile left over from a bathroom remodel, 4 cardboard tubes, and 4 1" cubes to the top. Door way is made from some broken keychain flashlights.

But having played a planetstrike game with just one bastion...I decided to make a few more.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Next a bunker. First I found this wooden box at Micheals for $3.00.

Remove the latches, add some wooden coffee stirrers, and blocks.

I'll round out the top by adding sandbags made from super scuplty.

the new Fortifications...

that's all for now...

The bit stuck on the side of England. Wales isn't it.

Great ideas. Love the wooden boxes. I hope you didn't eat all that kfc in one go!

Needs dakka. And rivets. Nothing in the 41st century lacks guns or rivets.

Yep...works in progress. No rivets on the bunkers they will be concrete. Maybe on the bastions...they might get the concrete paint job too.

I did up the sandbags for one of the bunkers, no pics yet.

Trying to figure out how to get very cheap (free) guns that look like Heavy Bolters, for the bastions.

He made 'sentry guns', out of what looks like sprue and boltgun targeters. You could probably duplicate something similar.
