I've been to 3 FLGS in 3 days and all 3 had new Space Wolf stuff for sale.

Has anyone else had this???

nope, one of my two FLGS has the store preview codex but that is it. nothing for sale.

What I've found so far is the Codex, Canis, WGT and 2 SW Packs.

I only bought the codex due to lack of funds, but everything else was 10% or better off.

Hrm, that's odd b/c the stuff has an Oct 3 street date and selling before that is frowned upon by GW (violation of supplier agreement).

I went to GW Oxford Street at lunchtime.

They have the sprues on display in the window, and they were unpacking the boxed sets.

Nothing goes on sale until the weekend.

Psh, street dates are for the weak. I worked at an FLGS that followed street dates and we would always get screwed come release day on all sorts of things. Haloclix was a big one because every Gamestop ignored the street dates and we could hardly give the stuff away after the "big release."

I've seen Long Fangs on sale at a FLGS, the codex, and one or two other boxes. I can't remember what all for sure there was. Sadly no Grey Knights stuff for my new army but I still got a dreadnought to convert.

If I could get my hands on the codex, I would be happy. Sadly the only place that I know that would carry it is actually GW, and they're generally a bunch of uptight pricks. As someone else mentioned on another thread, they try to sell you a damn Stompa when all you want is glue. Yeesh. The one dude that I thought was pretty cool was suggested by myself to log on here to check out some of my paintings but he said "it's company policy that we aren't allowed to go on sites like that... I could lose my job". I just laughed. A lot. Then left... without buying a Stompa.

Suckers.

In any case, I want the SW codex :(.

What's great about this, is in the US we are getting no information from GW until right before stuff comes out. Just got the official pricing etc on SW last Friday. UK discounters had all the info on their sites taking pre-orders weeks before that, and now they release the boxes and codices early in the UK?

Most likely this is the UK warehouse screwing up, and shipping it out a week early. Sure screws with the concept of a global release date.

It's funny, I preordered the Space Wolves codex from GW UK and received it today. They usually send stuff out the Monday prior to release day, but this was obviously a bit early for some reason. Not that I'm complaining.
