I'm playing my second game of Planet Strike soon as an attacker. I don't actually own the book, the guy I'm playing does.
I was wondering. All the units arrive Via Deep Strike right. What is the deal with Infiltrators & outflankers?
Can they still do their thing or do all the unit's have to arrive Via Deep Strike?

Anything non-vehicle CAN arrive by deepstrike. You can walk on from your drop zone if you so choose.

I can't quite remember, and I'm not going to get my book to quote rules out of it, but I THINK that outflanking works normally, and infiltrators basically choose to outflank instead or lose the rule.

I just checked, he is correct. Outflanking works normally, Infiltrators can outflank but that's it. Its on pg. 12 2nd paragraph should your opponent want to look it up

I think you should really read the book before play. Maybe you could borrow it from him?

You dont have to Deepstrike, but youre always coming from reserve if not Deepstriking.

No attacking units will start on-table.

Attacking units that cannot Deep Strike (via the PS modified rules) enter from the DZ.

The rules say units must deep strike (if they can) or come on via deployment zone p13 under the scramble paragraph, if you must come on via deployment zone then you cannot outflank as your table edge is fixed.

p12 second paragraph is about terrain, third paragraph says about outflanking for defender, Klueless is playing attacker.

Here is the attacker deployment rules:

All attacking units must start the game in reserve - none of the attackers units start on the table at all. Attackers forces come on via deep strike as noted above, or coming into play from the table edge the attacker has nominated as as his drop zone

So units only come on from drop zone, so outflanking won't work as the table edge for coming on for outflanking is random. Attackers deployment is fixed to a table edge.

Exactly, attacking units EITHER deep strike or come in from drop zone, one or the other. Drop zone is fixed to a table edge.

You get to pick the table edge you come in from though =)
