Small errata in WD october 09, page 22 / SW ?

Found a little grey box called "small errata" in my WD today.
Page 22, covers page 50 + 53 of the codex SW.

Is it a localized thing, so it is for just 1 localized version of codex Space wolves or is it international?

Additionally, didnt see errata in a WD for some time, is it a accident or a change?

No codex ( 3rd oct ) but first errata ( 24th sep )....

No codex ( 3rd oct ) but first errata ( 24th sep )....

If its the german WD, its for the german codex. Most likely they messed up the translation.

If it's for the UK WD, then GW have totally reversed their policy on errata

This helps somehow but confuses at the same time.

So i get a "new codex" errata and the UK still has the "old minidex" Faq/errata ?

Mine is dated 21st of sep.
I am not unhappy when GW admits its mistakes. And corrects them.

@ Gwar!:
Lets hope your codex is perfect and doesnt need errata if GW is that fast on their own foggy island.

Yeah, the codex is perfect.

Oh Wait. Codex isn't even out and we have already found multiple causes for errata.

Basically what's happened is an error in translation. Books have been printed, some people even have their books. So GW Germany's done the sensible thing and corrected the mistakes. It would be confusing for Germans to have 2 FAQs so the old ones been removed. Note when IG came out the old FAQ was their until they got round to uploading the new one (in fact the BGB FAQ still has a ruling about the old IG codex)

Did some research and yes, almost every GW "sub-chapter" runs the old SW faq, except france they got nothing.
( wasnt able to read GW japan's site....)
Will depend on the printing run then if I have to apply those errata.

I think its no less confusing for those who buy a new codex and look at old errata/faq's.
Would prefer to have old errata/faq removed when a codex hits the stores for "show off", since GW moved to 2 weeks sneak peek
before release ( SW yet and skaven later ).

Looking forward to GW's decision: errata or faq or ignorance.

There's no official Japanese version of the Space Wolves codex available which I can find. For the adventurous, the resource downloads for 40k is here: http://jp.games-workshop.com/resources/wh40k/default.htm

You may notice the absence of Blood Angels and Space Wolves on that page. Then again, when Space Hulk was announced on the Japanese site, there was a note that the rules were only available in English. There's a link to a basic Dark Eldar codex which still puzzles me...

Nids: I guesstimate 2 or 3 weeks before release
Skaven: I don't play Fantasy (though I know how to play), so I won't be getting it.

Of course I can, but it is better to be pessimistic and then pleasantly surprised than optimistic then have your hopes and dreams crushed.

I wanted a one page cheat sheet, so I went to the GW site the other day and printed one of the two rulebook resource pages. The one with the hit tables and wound tables. On the reverse side, I printed the SM reference sheet with all the model and weapon profiles.

I couldn't understand why I couldn't find a unit on there in the middle of a game until I suddenly realized the SM codex resource page was still the 4th edition page. Way to update your own material on your own website GW.
