And I have to say, very not bad. Alot of the new stuff is pretty damn cool. Love some of the new tanks, some of the SC are pretty neat, and would be fun to make a counts as of a few of them.
I did notice they STILL have pretty much all the released armies in the codex. Obviously most are REALLY outdated looking. But it got me wondering, is it possible that somewhere down the road they will remake some of those armies minitures? For example redo Tallarn raiders and Vahallans? (not Mordian because I always hated their look lol)
What do you people think?

I'd love to see the Valhallans and Tallarn make a come back. A guy at my local shop plays all Mordians, and they look good.

I'd probably pick up an Imperial Guard army if they made some Tanith models aside from the small squad and the two meltagunners, but I don't think we'll see that happen anytime soon.

GW said they had plans to do every IG regiment in plastic earlier this year. No idea when they'll be released (likely when the next codex comes out?) but it's something they're looking into. Personally, I'm really looking forward to it.

That would be nice. Personally Ive always loved the look of the Desert Raiders. Id prolly still mostly use normal guard rules (IF they had a different rule set that is) I just cant see tracking down all the old Tallarn minis. Most of them look like poop anyways. And Im not a fan of FW either. Way to expensive.

I have a friend that can field a Valhallan army. Most of them are unpainted, but...well, those sculpts need some help.

Putting it severely lightly, yea they need some help lol. FW has some heavy weapon teams that dont look to bad. But Im not one of those OOOO FW!! LETS BUY! types. Those should of been made by GW and charged a GW price.

Guard are the new Apocalypse kings. Lots of heavy weapons, new tanks, and Guardsman Marbo+Vortex grenade=OWN

Well, at Games Day UK today there were some new Tallarn greens in the display case. They were declared to be test sculpts by trainees, but let's not forget that models such as Sergeant Telion were test sculpts too.

I'm diggin the glare on the glass. I t looks like smexy blue flame for the flamer lol.
