After not so long a wait, here it is... I whipped up the CAD at work and cut it on my lunch break. Its painted with spray chrome paint crap for bumpers, but it looks sexy imo. Now mind you this is quick... Pretty much the quickest modeling job, cuz I only have 30 mins. If I wanted to make it look really good, I could sand it flat so it would be sans wood grain, prime it, then paint it... Which would make it look like stainless steel. This one would probably go for $5-7. I also plan on making T junctions, X junctions, aswell as platforms and a possibly stairs aswell. Thoughts ? Comments/Critisizm is welcome.

that is awesome, will be heavy a bit, but durable and awesome.

You may use anything I post, just remember to give me credit if used somewhere else.

I love it!! You could do them with the slats running perpendicular and actually have a wooden bridge too.

That it interlocks is just bonus cool points!!

Any chance of showing a mini beside it , to get a good idea of the size of it? It looks good, but it would be nice to see the scale of it.

I was actually out all evening yesterday searching for a hobby shop where I could pick up some minis.... I got to my flgs at 8:03... Read the hours which said it was open till 9:00, then read a small sign that said "Closed at 8:00 tonight only"

Naturally.

I'll include a mini asap.

Nice. That would go great with some Industrial Towers and Space Corridors.

Now where could we find some of those...?

Coming soon ! We plan to design more catwalks... Like I said, T junctions, Xs, aswell, I'd like to do one double width and one with stairs to a second level, so you could have multy layed catwalks between towers.

Towers... Hm. I will certanly look into creating a set of modular tower pieces... I'll design them in such a way that you start with the base kit and add as many tower sections as you like, then cap it with a top piece... That way you can take them apart and reconfigure them.

I actually just bought my first model... A Reaver Jetbike for Dark Eldar... Working on making it now... I must admit, this is quite fun... However I'm bugged by this damn seam... It just doesnt want to close up nice and snug... Any suggestions ? How I wish I had some damn files !!! I'm working at my computer desk in my apartment I just moved into, so I have literally the minimum amount of stuff in general, nevermind modeling supplies. And to think I work for Fast Tracks, which is like one of the best suppliers of these tools. /sigh.
