Hell yes! He's here, a frickin Mega-Dread! He will run by the rules of the Forge World mega dread, but he's made from a Chaos Defiler and a lot of bitz!

Well, let's start with a few allaround views:

And he can stand without that leman russ turret under his foot, but it makes him a bit hunched.

Doesn't look that impressive. Well, look again:

(That Dreadnought is going to be my venerable Space Wolves dreadnought but it's not finished yet)

Well here is a closer look at the claw:

And the Gretchin firing and reloading the gun:

He uses the pick to ignite the shells in the kill cannon, by hitting their back-end and then turns the crank next to him to turn the next shell into place.

Well, C&C are appreciated

Very nice indeed, you do know with photobucket that you use the linking facility so the pictures will show here on dakka...?

Great kitbash btw.

Yes I do, but I thought the picture size would stretch the site for some people so I just linked them.

And thanks.

Astonishingly few people will click a link, you'd do yourself a favour by posting a couple of pics.

On the plus side, it look pretty good. I'd add a rear 'toe' or heel, it looks like it'd fall backwards at the moment. Is there an ammo feed for the cannon, I can't see one?
Add a little texture to the shoulders, a few layers of patches & repairs. Get it painted next

at the rear end of the cannon, the wider part is a drum holding several extra shells that i simply made from Eldar Missile launcher tops glued inside. It easily can hold 6 but i only put in 4 because the other two wouldnt be visible anyway.

I guess i will put in the pictures then.

Horrific Hive Tyrant

London (work) / Pompey (live, from time to time)

I only have 2 very minor ideas here

1: add a rear toe or something to help it balance as it stomps about.

2: add something to the waist and leg sections to bulk it out a little more, they just seem a tiny bit thin for stomping

Other than that, amazing job!
Pulled off the true orky look very well, and i see this being the 1st of many on dakka now
I think you have just started a trend lol.

Suffused with the dying memories of Sanguinus, the warriors of the Death Company seek only one thing: death in battle fighting against the enemies of the Emperor.

I bet every Ork player is going to be building one of these puppies. I know I will be lol. I think yours is a tad large, but very well put together. I agree nice kit bash for sure. And enjoy smashing the piss out of everything

Also as an aesthetic thing. Ive found that for that Ork skull plate you used for the "face". You can stick an Ork shoota sight (the cross style ones on the sprues) inside that eye hole. It looks REALLY coo and also fills the hole a bit. Might want to give it a try

Insanely awesome! I agree with adding a third toe on the feet for stability.
Also, is that a boar head on the regular dread? fething sweet!!!

Bulking out the arms and the legs would make the model 10x better in my opinion.

Okay. Bulk out the limbs and hip and add a backward toe/heel on the feet. Put that on my to do list.

@tblock
Actually a wolf head. But those goblin riding wolves are not too articulated anyway, so I guess the chance to mix them up isn't too bad

Looks like my idea does get its followers.
