I hate to make a new topic just for this, but the search function keeps bringing up rule references from 2006 and 2007, when 4th ed was still in style. It seems like an easy answer, but my attempts at finding it in the rules are yielding no results.
After destroying a vehicle in CC does the assaulting unit get to consolidate? Does this change vs. walkers or vehicles w/ a WS? Page number as well if you don't mind.

No you do not get to consolidate after combat with a non-walker vehicle. You do not get locked in combat with non-walker vehicles, so there is no combat resolution, pile in, consolidation etc. Walkers are the exception to this, they count as infantry but do not take any test if they lose combat.
