Hello there!
I have been playing BB (PC) recently and I was wondering how to get the most out of my speed advantages as a skaven player. Most of the time I get bogged down against melee teams and a big fist fight is on. Only sometimes I can get my gutter runners in the back field and/or break through the defenders lines. At the moment strong melee teams seem to have a big advantage without any serious disadvantages ("oh noes, you have one movement less then me...").
Is there a way to dominate the field with fast moves and passes? At the moment it seems more like a carrying game than a throwing and passing game...
Help and Tips and stuff is appreciated!

Dodging out of contact with a basher team is your best option. Dodging out reduces the number of blocks they can throw on your guys. If you can get everyone away, they only get their blitz.

Dodge through with everything to create a cage for one turn. then get your ball carrier through for the score. You should be able to score every two turns.

Best tip I can give is to give the ball to your opponent on the opening kick. Then you charge through his lines and grab the ball from him with your GutterRunners.

With the Skaven speed, you shouldn't need to pass too much, or even pass deep.

Expect to get beat up though. The low armor will tip the man advantage to your opponent.

Have you been playing vs computer or online? Try a few games vs comp if you haven't. The computer is not as creative or willing to risk as a real person.

Playedagainst the computer in the campaign mode. I mustadmit that the computer doesn't pass often, if at all.

Thanks for the tips. I have to get better with the rules.

The two fastest teams (Skaven and Wood Elves) play very differently. However they have some similar advantages versus other teams:

1. They can use the whole field. They can cover the field both vertically and horizontally. You can spread your guys out and collapse when you need to and never be out of reach. Leave a guy behind their guys, to keep them from piling on and to take advantage of turnovers. Overload one side, make your opponent commit and then reverse field. You don't have to go through a guy, you can run around or dodge past. You have to have three guys on the line, everyone else should be far back. They get one blitz a turn, so they should only ever be hitting one guy. You get to pick the fights. Which leads to:

2. Its not how fast you are, its how slow you can make your opponent. A fast team can score normally in 3 turns. That can be two with a good play, or even one with some lucky upgrades or turnovers. Slower teams take longer, so have less scoring potential (4 average, 3 being their good number, two being the fastest they can usually hope for). So if you hold the ball an extra turn, you have cut down their offensive capability. On defense, if they castle, you can keep a two steps ahead of him. They get one blitz to your line of guys, giving each other help and can dodge away next turn. With a failed roll, or an opening in their box, you can use that speed to exploit the opening and bring the numbers to your advantage. Even if they push down the field, you might have added two turns to their drive, which hampers their offense more than yours.
