Is it me or is that Choas can always pull so super killer unit from one of there chapters and destory whatever you feild or maybe not a unit but a special rule are just something along the line. Anyone got a idea on how to squash that nasty habit.

What units are you talking about?

I'm assuming Lash, Plague Marines and Obliterators?

Hmm...maybe I can clean it up a bit...

Is it just me that thinks Chaos is so overpowered in that they pull out their super killer unit combo (and their only widely advertised powergamer list) of Lashprinces + Oblits + plague marines out from their army bags and kill stuff with magic, and carebears, and rainbows, lollipops….

@Augustus:
I think so... but that was a entirely a guess...

@Rc1987:
If you want tactics against it, there is a great article over at Bell of Lost Souls, it's the second Lash of Submission Article.
It's perfectly counterable, at the end of the day the easiest thing is to kill the lash guy.
Easily said, prob. harder to do if it's a Sorcerer rather than a Daemon Prince.

Mech helps vs. that too, some armies have pychic defenses...

This is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.
Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.

Maybe e's referring to his footslogging squads getting "plasma cannoned" to death by 9 obliterators on turn one.

Chaos is a pretty strong army! Here are some counters:

LASH:

-Play all mechanized, and stay in the tanks, don't leave him a target, most armies can do this
-Play a Psychic hood form the Demon Hunters Codex which works for the whole board at LD 10
-Ad a Librarian W a hood to your marine army
-Play an Eldar character with runes of warding, whats really funny is watching demons take perils of the warp tests and die, poetic justice!

Plague Marines:

-Take antitank weapons to destroy their rhinos, and strand them, they seldom have any long range fire
-Assault terminators
-Take shadow in the warp with a Tyranid army
-Things that ignore FNP, rending, power weapons, AP 1 and 2, just nail them a lot.

Obliterators:

-- Hit these with Lascannons and weapons that can instant death them, they are very points heavy
-- Vulnerable in Melee, they don't throw many attacks
-- Threaten them with outflank units, they LOVE to set up in 12 of board edges
-- High power artillery counter fire

There isn't an obvious solution or silver bullet here, Chaos armies with the optimal build are hard as nails, all fearless pains. Good luck.
