Has anyone run double Avatars to any success? How did they preform? Would this be intimidating to go up against?

Yeah, if 2 avatars ever got close to one another they'd merge, like mercury, or that terminator dude.
I think what you're referring to could also be duplicated with the panzilla list. I consists of an avatar, 3 wraithlords, and just about whatever you want to toss in. It can be a bit shocking, depending on the opposing army build....

Even if you could, a farseer is too useful to go without. A fortuned Avatar is fun to throw against other MCs, since very few others will have better saves.

I would think Avvy+9 War Walkers would work a bit better for an 'elfzilla' type of tactic., more things to hide behind.
Also, Avvy+Eldrad is pretty wicked as a combo I hear

One warlock £7
Knowing that you've got one troop choice that T6 with re-roll-able 3+ save, that will make it to the end of most games ... priceless

Knowing that you've got one troop choice that is easily tarpitted by many units or simply killed by TH terminators whether they're fortuned or not, that moves slow-as-gak and only has 12" range, and costs 1/4 of your army... facepalm
|

I could not agree more. They used to be only ten dollars, too. Now its just terrible. I know what to ask for for christmas.
