They will be similar height, but they will have realistic body proportions.

I'm thinking the heads would look great on some Imperial Guard as an elite guard force...

VERY good call there - if they scale OK with the rest of the line!

Anything the Perry Brothers touch turns out amazing.

I wish that they still did Warhammer 40,000 stuff, more specifically Imperial Guard. Then we'd have cool, normal sized Imperial Guard instead of the stupidly sized Catachans and Cadians.

And nice Empire minis that still have that Landsknecht look and feel.

I think a good plan would be to buy a box of the cavalry and swap the heads for Pig Iron helmets of some type.

Stick a modern carbine on the back (maybe something from the Hasslefree CAD gun range, or the new Pig Iron Kolony rifles.)

Sci-Fi-ify the swords and cuirasses with plastic rod, wire and so on, and you've got some nice rough riders.

The leftover heads could be used as Cygnnus advised, as some kind of special elite IG Guards unit.

If you don't mind going unofficial, there are tons of great possibilities for variant IG forces. (Must resist temptation to start another army!!)

Hmm, I think I'd love seeing the original helms kept but gasmask faces fitted, those high helms are quite 40kish.
