2 squads of 20 Night Goblin Spearmen aren't that effective. Personally though, Night Goblins aren't even worth the spears: You get too few additional combat resolution points for the cost and sacrifice of armor. If you can, I'd suggest converting into hand weapons. Others who play competitively can give better advice though.
For archers, do you mean Goblin or Orc? 20 Night Goblin archers might be enough, even though I tend to field at least 30-big. They have absolutely no armor and are T3, but give them some Fanatics and point in the direction of Large Targets / things they can get lots of shots against, and they do fine.
The Spider Riders are a bit wasted at 10-big. I'd say five squads of six is better, as Fast Cavalry doesn't get Rank Bonus'. You're using them to Flank-charge enemies, or to bait them with a charge.
Trolls are Fine, Battle Standard Bearer is fine, Shaman is fine.
What I'd suggest? Well, first off: What theme are you working on for your army? With the heavy focus on Goblins, I'd suggest some Fanatics. Do you plan to go to the enemy, or make them come to you?

x2 spear chukkas
x2 packs of fanatics.
They would definitely be my next purchase.
Spear chukkas are the most awesome thing in the list for the points, and fanatics as they are mandatory as you have NGs.

I'd suggest four, personally. Drops a potential Special choice, but the sheer amount of shooty it provides often makes up.

Indeed, Fanatacs are a must. If you intend to be running mostly goblins (very few Orcs), then Netters are a good bet too. Either use the NG's as a Fanatic Delivery System, or turn them into a block only the cheesiest units can wade through on their own - it's Goblin Heroes, Specialists, and Spells that let them kill stuff. The regular Gobbos just tie things up indefinitely on the basis of "Eight kills? Not enough for a panic check".

I went with 2 spear chukkas as the army is still quite small.
At 2000- <3000 I always take 4 chukkas, 3000+ I take 6.

I always start on what kind of theme i want to go with (heavy Orc, heavy Gobbo or mix), Also i find it easier to come up with a working list, play a couple of games (proxy models) just to test it out before committing to buying the models.
I would keep the spears on the gobbos (either night or regular)
Spear Chukkas are good
Trolls not so good as they would have to be close to the general or have a hero attached so they don't go stupid
But it all goes to what you like and what your theme will be.
