Any suggestions for where I can find a good white spray primer in UK? Other colours a bonus but white is the most important...

I have tried GW & army painter and they are both expensive and I always get a really grainy//bumpy/chalky finish. I always spray inside and shake for at least 2 minutes.

Cheers

I use Plasti-Kote. They do white, grey and black.

Some people say the spray isn't fine enough. I've always been perfectly happy though I don't try to paint my figures to GD level so maybe my standards are too low.

I'm also looking for a white primer as the next model I'm planning to paint needs it. I've never used white though and i can't justify buying a GW one...Uber expensive now i think about it.

Is there anything specific that you need to look out for. Like, we use acrylic paints so we would go out an buy Goo-age or however you spell it. lol

They all the same?

Kilkrazy you talk about the coarseness of the paint. is that measured in any way?

Of course, as an American, that means I must say that soccer sucks, and football (real football... you know, the one where you do everything with your hands) is 10,000 times as good. I mean, football players could probably beat up soccer players, even, because they actually know sports.

I've never had any trouble with coarseness of the paint, it's just a remark another user made the last time I recommended Plasti-Kote.

He might have got a bad can.

You can put Acrylic on top of Plasti-Kote. I do it all the time. The spray works equally well on metal or plastic.

You don't need the specific 'plastic' primer. That is for softer plastics like polythene.

Another vote for Halfords, more for your money and just as good (if not better) as GW's.
