Hi everybody. I've recently started Warmachine/Hordes and am now trying to put together a list from the Khador stuff I've got. (You may have seen some of my stuff, most of it's up on the gallery.) The list I came up with is:

Butcher1
Juggernaut
Destroyer
Devastator
MoW Shocktroopers (3)

That leaves me at approximately 500pts. I also have axess to the following units:

Sorscha1
Irusk1
Marauder
Widowmakers
Manhunter

and soon:

Vlad1
Stannis Brocker (merc cav solo)

I'm thinking that swapping the Devastator for the Marauder and the Manhunter might be better, but that takes away my best anti-infantry.

What do you all think?

mm, you might have to many big boys for a party now...

Maybe just take 2 big jacks and have the rest as filler. Take widowmakers and MOW shocktroopers as anti infantry. maybe add a widowmakers and if points allow a mortar. Should work as a nice starter list...

Also check out the privateer - site. They have the MK2-rules up and also the new (unedited) cards. That way you can also orient yourself towards the new edition...

Thanks for the advice! I was thinking the list's a bit jack-heavy myself as well, and I think I'll be proxying a more infantry-centered list soon. I'm using the MKI stats and points because my usual adversary (and only one until I've figured out a good way to get more people locally) really likes the Skorne. I'm pretty sure we'll be going to MKII when the Hordes Field test arrives.

I don't really have a location other than my house, but can go pretty much anywhere near Groningen or Delfzijl.

I wouldn't be so hasty to drop 'jacks. In MKII they receive a much-needed boost, and return to their rightful place. I might switch out your caster for Sorcha, though... Or trade out the Juggernaut for Drago and put in Vlad.
