What do you guys think about this. I have a pretty awesome green tide style list and i think its time for a slight change.

HQ:
Ghazzy
(Battlewagon w/ MANZ)

Mech w/KFF

Troops:
20x Slugga Boyz
Nob w/PK
(Battlewagon)

20x Slugga Boyz
Nob w/PK
(Battlewagon)

20x Slugga Boyz
Nob w/PK
(Battlewagon)

12x Slugga Boyz
Nob w/PK
(Trukk)

12x Slugga Boyz
Nob w/PK
(Trukk)

2x Trukks
Red Paint Job

Elites:
5x MANZ
Combi Scorchas
(Battlewagon w/ Ghazzy)

Heavy Support:
4x Battlewagons
Red Paint
Deff Rolla

Total:
1748 or something close to that.

Im not a fan of Shooty Orks so i wanted to keep this as close combat as possible. Let me know what you guys think. Oh...the KFF Mech will go in one of the trukks or one of the battlewagons...not sure yet.

I take it you mean that the bw's with the boyz are heavy support?

Also the bw with the meganobz could be dedicated transport, so you coudl ditch the trukks and get another wagon.

Oh, and theres no such thing as shooty orks. BS2 is not shooty lol

Yeah I do. Instead of listing the other BW as dedicated, I put it under heavy support. I have the Trukks to save some points. Im trying to keep the list at that 1750 range. Does the list look solid to you?

Thats my point though, you cannot have FOUR battlewagons as heavy support. The Meganobz wagon must be dedicated You should list transports with the units they were purchased for as they are part of that unit, unless not dedicated transport like the battlewagons.

No Ork list is solid with trukks in it unfortunately :(

You really need some lootas for anti tank as well

The MANz wagon is dedicated. I just like listing everything in the same place so people dont get confused as to how many im actually running.

Ive never run lootas but just now...like ten mins ago read up on them. They sound amazing

Well people will get confused with 4 heavy supports when you can only have 4. Obivously they do . The dedicate wagon is a dedicated choice, not heavy support. But any way...

Lootas are the nutz. I need to take two units. The more the better. I have a unit of 15 with a mek with kff in a battlewagon. They are mobile, the transport has a 4+ cover save and then the armour needs to be popped before the lootas take wounds. They are highly annoying.

I disagree, Orks have some great weaponry despite BS2, their 6 point a model shoota boyz already carry better weapons than a Space Marine.

I've seen quite a few shooty ork lists and they seem to work out really well.

haha

BS 2 is bad... but 3 mobs of 30 = 90 shootas (x2 assault) at BS2 = 180 dice in one round of shooting.

so... BS 2 is good.

BS2 isn't shooty. Orks have a lot of volume of shots, but hardly hit. Shooty isn't quite the word. Volume of fire? Yes, actually hitting, no :(
