After spending most of the day either sorting out a bag of bits i collected form my old flat as i moved out or searching fruitlessly for my pin vice drill, i sat down to do some green stuff work on my arbite army when my vehicile bits box caught my eye. After a general rumage i found a rogue trader era pred turret i had completely forgot about.

So naturally i became distracted and began bodging a Pre heresy style predator together using some fo the moldiest old rhino chasis i had lying about form an army i stoped using 6 or something years ago.

So after 2 hours work, 1 radio station and part of my finger later i produced the following, what do people think of it? Suggestion for a better front plate (i hate the random thing i've thrown together if i keep it i am removing the weird looking storm bolter and adding another visor slit in.)

be nice.

thanks

oh and here is a random ahriman model painted in his 3rd ed colours.

The Imperium of Man is able to traverse the Warp with difficulty when their Emperor concentrates from his golden life support machine and lights the way. Unfortunately, because the Emperor has the attention span of the average 5-year-old Pokemon fanboy, this means that many an unfortunate Imperial ship has had the WTF WHERE'D THE LIGHTS GO experience, which in the Warp is invariably fatal.

I think a nice repaint would do wonders for that tank. Looks good other then that

I'd find an old school rhino on eBay and make a "proppa" predator. The bits are really incongruous and don't look terribly good together. A valiant effort nonetheless.

I think the model is very nice. Its also very Nostalgic, and it'll be a great feeling when you watch it destroy some newer models.
As far as modeling goes, I support Removal of the hull-mounted storm bolter. It overcomplicates the model.
As KingCracker has stated, a coat of paint will bring it some unity and orginisation and will help it look even better.

When you call an intimate moment with your partner "the Assault Phase"

Is that followed by a pile-in move?

That brings a whole new meaning to the term "Hit and Run"

Can that be following a deep strike, or do you have to wait until the next round?
