Alright, it has finally happened. Games-workshop is actualy having a movie made on 40k . unfortunately there are no trailers yet but check it out on

My predictions on what the Ultra Marines will be battling will probably be the Tyranids of Hive Fleet Behemoth at the Battle for Macarage. I would like to see them battle some Greenskins though....

What do you think would be a great enemy/battle to see?

Advent, we've had some very recent threads concerning the new movie coming out. Prehaps looking about a bit, simply because you are new on the board, before posting up a new thread and exposing us to repeats? It would be appreciated in the future.

OT, I think the Orks would be the easiest to do, but Tyranids (done well) would be FAR more kick-ass to see!

i think a cool movie would be ultra marines investagating a necron tomb and find a sacred relic or some thing then bring it to macrage but the necrons follow them and there's a big war and stuff

I believe the Ultramarines Movie will be about one of the Major Battles from the Space Marines Codex. Could be the Battle for the Sepulchre where the eldar demand that the Imperial Gov. return a relic to them and the gov. pretty much laughs and says "Hell No". So Eldar attack, and the Ultramarines deffend. During the battle the Avatar comes and starts beatin the Marines down. Marneus Calgar gets an idea and charges the Avatar........ he gets beat down and when the Avatar goes for the killing blow. Marneus grabs the Wailing doom and puts his fist through the Avatars guts effectively winnig the battle.
I believe the Ultramarines movie will have to be one of the major battles in the Ultamarines history.

Screw the Ultramarines. I vote 1st Armageddon War! Wolves vs Angron= EPIC WIN!!!!...just a thought. Battle for Terra? 13th BC? Any 'geddon war? Swear to god, if I see one poster saying "This summer...Orlando Bloom is Cato Sicarius!" Somebodies gonna get hurt (and it aint gonna be me) (Billy Connoly as a Long Fang Sgt am I right or am I right?)

I'm guessing it'll be The Battle for Macragge or Assault on Black Reach. Just makes sense to tie it into one of the box games, and either way it's a simple story with lots of potential for action.

It could be Tarsis Ultra, as I'm assuming (and hoping) that GW will have the major input into the film (what with the whole ideology being theirs and all). Hope there are some good actors in it, and hope they don't up the power armour!
