Mortar

War Dog

That's probably the way I would go, but with the new formation rules, AOEs will likely be less effective. An alternate choice would be:

Widowmakers
Manhunter
War Dog

I'm wondering what you think the ideal warjack loadout for him is?

I now have access to:

*Juggernaut
*Destroyer
*Beast-09
*Spriggan
*Kodiak

From what I understand he is not a great warjack caster. That said I think a Destroyer is always nice to have...

Other then that I do not know...

[pIrusk] still has Superiority (+2 MAT, DEF, SPD & can't be knocked down). The Spriggan plays well with others, its targeting flares will help to eliminate hard to target enemies as it advances. It's also no slouch in melee, under Superiority it has an 11" threat range at MAT 10 on the charge with its War Lance.

Epic Irusk has Energizer, which basically allows your jacks to reposition or advance into position
to set up a possible charge or contact key enemy models.

I think they removed Superiority from his spell list, and added it as a passive Warjack bond. I
forget, though.

Thinking of pIrusk, ignore.

The Destroyer/Spriggan combo is pretty good for eIrusk. Energizer benefits any jack, but melee jacks with Reach get a pretty impressive threat range: 12". Also, since the Energizer movement takes place out of activation, shooty jacks can move 3" and still get the aiming bonus.

For the bond, you could put it on anything, really. But I think whichever one is going to be exposed to more threats is obviously the one that gets the bond. So consider your army before each game and if a jack is going to be on the front line, that's the one. If there's more than one jack, I'd probably put it on the one that's more defensively capable, like a Spriggan or Devastator. Or maybe a Berserker to get a whopping (for Khador) DEF 13.

The other thing eIrusk does for jacks is Fire For Effect. This just requires an AOE ranged attack, so you could just take a Mortar and be done with it, but a Destroyer is still a pretty good choice.

Hmm. Upon re-reading FFE, you can use it with spray templates too. There's another reason to take Winterguard and another reason to hope the new Khador jack has a spray.

I'll probably just do the Sprig/Dest then. eIrusk seems focus starved all the time, though!
