The list is themes heavily around Terminator Armour, so heavily around it that there's nothing but terminators.
It's not a list I expect to play competitively, but just something to whip out at the game store for friendly matches. Including fenrisian wolves, the entire army consists of... less than 20 models.
Any suggestions to keep the overall theme but improve the playability slightly?

Well that kind of army is pulled off better with chaos but first off second you only really need one hq so i would dump your 3 wolf lords, next your only aloud max 2 hq slots, next avoid lone wolfs cause there big purpose is using up your last bits of points, next dont have squads of three terminators because then if two die your third guy runs for it. if i were you get full squads of wolf guard termies ignore the wolf calws though so they only cost 38 points. with termies you want as many as possible because small squads will be run down by squads of requlars like marines or guard. so really 3 squads of termies would be 1140 also guards arent troops there elites.

@ above post:

Space Wolves can take four HQ slots, Terminators have ATSKNF if I'm not mistaken, meaning the surviving third guy will come back every time. And I guess that Logan Grimnar makes the Wolfguard a scoring unit?

Apart from that: Interesting list. However, as you yourself stated, the utter lack of models might be a problem. Have you thought about investing in a dreadnought? Fluffy and you would add an AV12 vehicle to the list - pulls fire off of the Terminators, can survive a lot if it is venerable and has some serious hitting power.

Yeah, for expansion I was considering a dreadnought in place of one of the lone wolfs. But I'm not expecting to take it into competitive play unless it somehow turns out to be really good.

To the first response though, you may need to re-read some of the SW codex, and also the point of my list, instead of trying to tournament optimise it.

Still though i think you should have only grimnar because your other hqs are 205 well a wolf guard termy would be 38. still though with only three terms in a squadcould get shot up by even ork speeds and also amagine three terms against 30 orks, it wont turn out well for you.

To be honest, a squad of 3 wolf guard in terminator armor attached to a lord, especially logan grimnar, will probably tear a squad of 30 orks apart.

And i would probably switch the saga of the wolfkin with saga of majesty. But that's just me, considering wolves aren't a huge part of this army. But it may be more beneficial with wolfkin.

Also after looking in my codex only one of each saga can be taken per army

This army can be pulled off better with Chaos? So Chaos can pull of scoring terminators. Yeah. Someone doesn't know what they are talking abooouuuuttt. (psst. deathwing are the only other army able to do this)

And you don't know ATSKNF hmmh.... Yeah. (psst. you can never run down marines! Sorry if your marine opponents weren't smart enough to read their dex, no dice here)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm all for making fun lists but you've gone a bit to far here. I play deathwing and even with 25 terminators as troops you'll feel like you seriously don't have enough.

The 3 other HQ's need to be gone. There need to be more troops. And BTW Lone Wolves are an enigma wiht their fenresian wolves because it's techically illegal to give them the Wolves because they are a 1 man "IC" and they can't join squads and giving them Wolves makes them a squad. Wierd huh?

Try something like this, gives you a decent feel and is more deadly (even though if you really want an all terminator list just go deathwing Logan armies ask for ST10 Lascannon fangs and PAWG)

Logan - 275

Rune Priest - 175
Terminator Armor; Master of Runes; Wolf tail Talisman (Powers - 1. Tempests Wrath 2. Murderous Hurricane or Living Lighting or JotWW)

2x:
Wolfguard - (525) = 1050
10x; 10x Terminator armor
1. Cyclone Missile Launcher
2. Cyclone Missile Launcher / Meltabombs
3. TH/SS
4. TH/SS/Meltabombs
5. Normal
6. Combi-Melta
7. Combi-Melta / Meltabombs
8. Combi-Melta / Chainfist
9. Twin Wolf Claws
10. Twin Wolf Claws / Meltabombs

1500 spot on. Logan and RP join seperate squads. Each member of the WG is geared differently so it's wound allocation fun similar to Nob Bikerz! You have 8 CML attacks and Logan can make his squads ST9 with Tank Hunters and each squad has TH/SS guys in it to protect it from lascannons (you can add more SS if you want) and well, I think it's quite nasty if I do say so myself.

And, logan can give his squad preferred enemy the turn they charge or fearless if they need to rally / if you know they are going to need it.

He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster and if you gaze for long into an abyss, the abyss gazes also into you

Good ideas but when i said its better with chaos before i didint think he would use them for holding objectives and that what i ment was a chaos term is 30pts.

I say try it out and have fun with it.

I used to play a deathwing army with only 16 terminators, counting belial, 2 dreads and three land raiders. It was fun and looked good on the board. It didn't win a lot of games but that wan't really important to me.

How many wounds are there on wolfguard?

Q: How many of a specific demographic group are required to carry out a simple task?
A: An arbitrary number. One to carry out the task in question, and the remainder to act in a manner stereotypical of the group.

Don't underestimate a Wolf Lord with dual claws and saga of the warrior born. 6 attacks on the charge, hitting on 3s and wounding 3/4s of the time means in the ork turn of combat he is +3 A, then in his next turn +4, and so on.

I would suggest you swap one lord with a Wolf Priest. Rerolls to hit + to wound + warrior born = carnage. By your next turn 10 T4 opponents will die just from the wolf lord. Mixed in with the other wolf claws WG squad, and only 4 orks would be left in combat out of the 30.

Use the extra points to get a WG with a cyclone ML, just so you have some way of pestering skimmers, Vindicators and Demolishers before they give you a pounding.
