I was wondering where I could buy some scifi miniautures to spice up my cadians. I just dont want GW because I dont want run of the mill stuff.

It is a cool model but I would ask tourney people if you can use it. GW will surely say no. I, personally would have no problem.

For non tourney games they would be fine, I use mixed Non and GW bitz in a lot of my armies. Some tourneys the mini has to have a certain percentage of GW, check the packs for details to prevent dissapointment.

Have a look at Hasslefree, West Wind, Old Crow, Barrule (Aniteoniti's workshop) and TheBaggageTrain (on ebay) for more vehicles and goodness. You can also look at collector type models, as I've seen WALL-E's converted into 'Kans and I've used Halo Warthogs as Recce vehicles

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

Some tourneys and TOs don't want non-GW minis used in 40k games. Some don't care. When GW is providing all of your prize support, you tend not to rock the boat.

I use old Warzone (Capital) forces in my SM army as scouts (bolters) and as they are of a similar size and suitably bulked up, they seem to pass. Then again, I don't have issues with tourneys and GW limitations (we don't really have to worry about it here).

That AT43 strider is cool though. Fine for a sentinel from my POV.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.
