FAST TRANSPORT VEHICLES
Passengers may not embark onto or disembark from a fast vehicle if it has moved (or is going to move) flat out in that Movement phase.

What happens to the embarked unit, if I've moved flat out, then in my opponents shooting/assault phase gets an immobilized or either destroyed result?

It is no longer "that Movement phase" once your opponent's turn starts.

The odd issues occur if you immobilize or wreck your own fast transport during your movement phase.

Explodes is covered, but the other two kill your embarked troops.

So the only way you can see is if you started or ended your turn as a skimmer in difficult terrain and become immobilized by dangerous terrain test.

Yup, the only times this come into play are:
1) If you are a skimmer and move flat out and crash cause of Difficult Terrain
2) You Ram 13"+ with models inside.

Either way, I have to ask "WTF are you doing?"

I've seen the number one when people are pressed for time. They rather take a risk with the transport than lose a turn or two of action for the troops inside. Believe me, it starts looking pretty reasonable when some nuns with guns wipe out all your other troops with their flamers and there's only one objective you have a realistic chance of taking.
