Yeoman Warden with a Longbow

With Round 2 Fast Approaching. I'm left with an odd decision as to what to field. Considering my inexperience with WFB, I though coming here for some guidance might be super awesome. So any help people can offer, would be cool. I've got two lists I've been toying with. Here they are.
This was the primary list I was toying with.

These are the two lists I've been toying with, Now considering that I'm a dunce when it comes to this stuff, I've played them and didn't do too badly. What do other people think?

I think the second list is stronger for Ard Boyz. You have a much better magic defense. However, I think that the 3 unit of peasants is a waste of points. I would try and remove one or two of those units, one pegasus knight, and squeeze in a trebuchet if you can on the second list.

Well, for 1 peasant knight and 2 of the peasants, I could fit in 2 trebuchets.
Which is what I was thinking of doing. <_< Cool.

Don't take the King! He's wretchedly bad, and, so far as I know, has literally never been played. Don't ruin a perfect record...
|
All in all, fact is that Warhammer 40K has never been as balanced as it is now, and codex releases have never been as interesting as they are now (new units and vehicles and tons of new special rules/strategies each release -- not just the same old crap with a few changes in statlines and points costs).
