I found this conversion on another Dakka user's post, George Spiggott's to be exact. It's his conversion for Nightmare of the Cryx, and I think it's pretty bad ass. I've asked him what he used for the claws but he hasn't answered me.

I was trying to see if anyone else knows what these claws are made of. Thanks for your help.

(Sorry if the pic doesn't show, I'm new to forums, I'm trying to make sure it works.)

If I remember correctly, I thought for sure he said they were Tyranid Claws.

Tyranid scything talons where my first thought. It must be the Termagants/Hormagaunts ones, there’s no way those things are the right size for Tyranid warriors.

Could be Procreate - like green stuff but grey.
Conclusion due to sheen & the slight colour variations to where they're stuck on near the knuckles

Check out my gallery here
Also I've started taking photos to use as reference for weathering which can be found here. Please send me your photos so they can be found all in one place!!

So I'm a slow. I'm so new to forums that I just found the DakkaDakka mailbox. George Spiggott got back to me and showed me where he posted what the claws where made from. Below is quoted from his post about the claws:

"The claws are spider rider legs from the 'Battle for skull pass' plastics with Green Stuff 'knuckles."

Sorry for starting a conversation that wasn't needed. However, I've gotten a lot of good ideas as to how to add claws to all kinds of models so thanks to everyone for the help.
