After a long sabatical from all things
GW I bit the bullet and ordered a Space Wolves Pack and Space Wolves Wolf Guard Terminator boxset.
Im going away for 6½ weeks so I have had Craig from Wayland Games to hold back the order for me so that they arrive in the same week I get back home (Craig is awesome to deal with thus far, the proof will be in the arrival of my items.)
What I have in mind to begin with is 5 Assault Troopers with Jumpjets - AirWolves

- for want of a better word.
I have the following "ingredients":
- 5x Chaos Warrior bodies ready for trimming, prepping and gs'ing of boots.
- 5x Raptor Jumppacks (nice pre-heresy styled packs)
- and now my two boxsets of wolves.
What I still need to complete the recipe - 5 nice Space Wolves Terminator Shoulder Guards from Forgeworld... ahem - if you have to sell / trade / DONATE - please let me know.
Once I have the codex in hand I will figure out if they will indead be AirWolves or just regular troops - but i've been itching to use those Raptor packs in a cool project.
Much thanks to LBursey and his Awesomepaintjob YouTube channel - will definately be calling on him for painting tips & tricks.
Will post regular updates here once I start.
For those who care or just want to see somethig cool -
http://www.blankds.com is my countdown timer to when I leave South Africa for South America... going to get some much needed relaxation and beach time!
Being new to the idea of actually collecting an army or even playing the game (as opposed to just tinkering with bits) I am open to suggestions from Winning Wolf players on force organisation and troop choices.
