New Guard army

Hello after release of new Codex i went to my local gw and started a new IG army. The Teutobergian aspect come form the battle of the Teutoberg Forest. So my army will have a woodland hunter type theme. Fluff and pics to come shortly (hopefully)
Any ideas for names, backgrounds, tactics much appreciated.

If you have not yet, check out the Gaunts Ghost stuff, it is about the Tanith First and Only; a guard regiment from Tanith a woodland world where their biggest interstellar trade is lumberjacking. Some peoples Tanith army mix IG and Wood Elves and some mix IG and Empire.

As for names go for stuff that is early Saxon and visuals use a lot of beards.

Good army theme! If you want to have the "barbarians attack from the forest"-theme, you could also build a unit of berserkers and use them as conscripts. You could use parts of the chaos-barbarians, space wolves or, though not turney-legal, these.

Wargames Factory produces some sets of Ancient Germans which may be just what the doctor ordered. Your cammo's really nice if a bit bright. Whats the model with the cloak a sniper?
