I will soon be getting a FW Reaver Titan (dont ask how can I afford it), and I will be painting it similar to the Forge World display model. I just want to know how Forge World created the shiny smooth effect on the model. Also, what colours do you think they used for the blue and yellow?

Thanks,

Valkyrie

The shiny effect could be done with a gloss varnish, or even the water effects stuff. It all depends on exactly what finish you're after. I'd suggest getting some old marines or even bits of sprue and having a play around before you put any paint on your precious reaver!

They also use an airbrush.

Also I've started taking photos to use as reference for weathering which can be found here. Please send me your photos so they can be found all in one place!!
