Now, I'm not exactly the most careful of modellers, and having just undercoated a few tanks, there is Chaos Black spray paint everywhere.

Any tips for getting it off my fingers? I got the worst of it off with an emery board, but destroyed it in the water. There's still little spots where I couldn't get it to, splatters on my fingernails, and so forth.
And is it possible to get it off a wooden table?
Or my jeans, for that matter?

Sounds like you have a set of paint clothes now. Just keep washing your hands and the paint will rub off eventually. as for the table, could be tricky. Is finished with a varnish? It might be possible to get the paint off but you might damage the finish in the process.

I think it's impossible to wash the clothes painted with undercoat spray...you can try to use a cutter to scratch the painted fibers, it reduces the painted zone.

In the wood I think it's also impossible (because the paint penetrates in it). If the wood table is varnished you can get off the paint with alcohol and patience.

About your fingers, don't worry, can be washed with water or alcohol, and the spots of the nails too. If not, finally the paint dissapear for itself from the skin.

For the next time I recommend you to use old newspapers or plastic bags to don't paint your home with chaos black

You can probably get it off the table with soapy water and scrubbing, if it is acrylic paint.

Try acetone (nail polish remover) and white spirit (not mixed together) if it is enamel or solvent based.

Acetone is likely to remove the table varnish too, but tables can be repolished.

If it's your own table you can try what you like. If it's your mother's table she might not be too pleased if you take the varnish off when removing the paint.

BTW acetone and white spirit are inflammable and intoxicating, so open the windows and don't smoke when you use them.

I would use hot soapy water and a scrubbing brush.

Well, the table just got a light dusting where the newspaper wasn't covering it, so I shall try the nail varnish remover route.
Or just wait for it to weather off.

Just got Testors ELO paint & decal remover. Takes EVERYTHING off including primer. It's my new favorite stripper. It stripped my wood bits on the model without damage so it should work on the table. For fingers just get you hands wet and soggy and use scotch bright pad (green scrubber) and should work on nails and skin.

Well, I found out today that this morning's rainfall took the paint clean off the table.
I'm not sure whether to be relieved or disturbed at that.
