Hello, Im trying to make a pre horus herasy thousand suns army and i dont know hpow to make the modles or a good pains scheme for them. I was woundering if anybody could help me with some modluing ideas, where to get the heads for the space marines and what colors to use for them.. Thank you for ur helop about this

Forgeworld do the heads for the Red Scorpions which are the previous Mark, can't remember which number but they are expensive.

Indeed. I have experience with maxmini, you can order many of a specific head offered there. If you order up a ton of the head type in the upper-left, that would work well for pre-heresy thousand sons. Make sure to cover all aquilas/skulls/wings with scarab icons.

Plenty of members have done Pre-Heresy TS forces, including me, and there are lots of threads that discuss the many options that concern their legion.

As far as colors, they're red with white or gold trimming. Depends on personal preference. The Maxmini heads work beautifully to capture the TS look in the pre-heresy.

i rekon using darkangles veteran sprues and loots of scrolls, all pre heresy armour and red armour *kinda like world eaters colours*

World Eaters were white and blue in pre-heresy IIRC.

I didn't realize they'd retconned their original chapter symbol (it used to be a roman numeral M).
