I had a Blood Angels army. Now most of them have been lost while moving, and I've acquired a MASSIVE bag of Chaos bitz. My question is whether I should turn to Chaos, as Blood Angels stranded in the warp and faced with Geller field failure seem likely to fall to Khorne. In order to achieve this, I would do the following:

-Acquire the AoBR starter box, have a friend who wants the Orks split the cost.
-Combine with existing miniatures.
-File off all Imperial insignia.
-Liberally mix in all of the assorted rare custom shoulderpads, heads, weapons, icons, and banners.
-Bring death to the slaves of the False Emperor.
-Have a more interesting opponent for my new Guard if I have company over and they want a quick game.

The greatest impediment to this plan, of course, is the fact that I have a number of unique models; Lemartes, the Death Company, and a Baal-pattern Predator. How do you suggest I use these? Or should I leave out the Chaos bitz and take advantage of the new Codex:Blood Angels I hear rumours of?

Well the leader could be a Khorne Lord.

Death Company= Raptors?

Baal Predator= Auto cannon pred?

T'would be a shame to make it an autocannon Predator seeing as it has a nice pair of scary-looking gatling guns on the turret.

Yea hmm I don't have my dex on me but it seems to be the onlything a baal pred could count as.

Maybe say the heavy bolter sponsons or on the turret and the auto cannon is on the side?

Ah, forget it. I like my shiny Predator and the Chaos list fits not my playstyle. For the Emperor!

I can't ever see Blood Angels succumbing to Chaos as they are all scarred by the death of their much beloved primarch to Horus. Basically they are psychically programmer against Chaos and are immune to corruption, just as much if not even moreso compared to Grey Knights.

This could be a four panel comic: Kharn walking around in depsair; next we see Cultists Chan similarly grieving; in panel three they lock eyes: Kharn asks hopefully "Blood for the blood god?" to which Cultist Chan cheerily replies "blood foor theee blood tha-roan!"; finally we see Kharn gleefully dismembering her, surrounding by hearts.)

And, if you so eloquently put it, Blood Angels do it better. I took one look at Lemartes and my Death Company with their custom shoulder pads and realized my true calling; to defeat Chaos. To counter anger and bloodlust with righteous fury and a desire for the blood of the Emperor's enemies... and most importantly, to let loose assault cannon and template mayhem with that Baal Predator I put so much work into.

Of course they would. Personally, I like the chaos marines box set better then the normal SM kit. I used to buy that, and Imperial-ise it. Looks WAY cooler then boring ol SM.
Dont change man, keep them BA. Youll regret if you went down that road.
