So Leman Russ disappeared some time after the Heresy and no one knows where he is now, though they did find his armour much later on.

So what do you think happened to him?

the fluf actually states he went to the eye of terror to find the 13th company, and then he basically said "Ill be bock" in true swarchsanigger (sorry, i cant spell his name) style. he then essentially buggered of for a couple of millenia

Chuckle, why does the image of Leman Russ streaking across the galaxy seem hilarious to me?

I see there :

1) Russ is ashamed of his boys when he witnessed their debate who is a real SW, so he lies somewhere drunk in a corner.
2) The canis helix got the better of him, he doesnt need or remembers the usage of armor. Still hunting down traitors but more beastly than astartes style.
3) Russ got lost in space, was too proud to ask for guidance and had to trade his equipment/armor for a transport. Wasnt clever enough to
buy something with a navigator.....
4) Russ found the 13th, GW seeing the danger of a wulfen revealing the location of russ and deleted them from the SW codex.
The only source lost, we will never know.
5) Russ found some of his brother-primarchs, theyre already destabilizing the power of chaos but need to go unseen so he had to ged rid
of his personal gear.

I myself like to think that Magnus has captured him and routinely tortures him in retribution for the burning of Prospero.

I believe that hes with Waldo, who is now a chaos lord of tzeench, so once more the great game begins. Where is WALDO!?!?!?!?!?

He problely turned into a wulfen he'll make a good conversion project...
