I've just put live a massive architectural change that should make dakka more efficient and stable in the long term, but as with any major change I probably missed a load of bugs when testing. If you see any strange posts (UBB code not being parsed, missing posts, big ugly java errors, etc) then please report them in this thread along with the time that you saw them and the precise URL of the page you loaded.

Thanks everyone!

That is already known. This thread is for discussion about post appearances ONLY though, please post other issues as new threads.

I am seeing that there are multiple pages on a thread and can navigate through most of them, but i am not seeing all the posts in a thread. I know there are posts there but they are not showing up.

A good example is in the "Don't ask don't tell" thread in OT. It is showing 4 pages. The nav buttons for 4 pages are there but when i click on page 4 it displays no posts. I know there are posts there because I put one there myself and someone has commented after me.

I play...

Odd... stuff is working now. Some others did mention that things were missing for a while in the post I mentioned.

I saw it on that post and manually fixed it, but the bug is noted. I was just wondering if there were other posts with the same problem or not.

I have since edited the post to remove the characters, but ampersands ('&') had been replaced with the text "XREPDROPDRIPz" in http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/259849.page. Not sure if this is an ongoing or known issue, just thought I'd mention it when I saw this particular thread. The kicker is, it wasn't showing up in previews of the posts, so I can't even be sure if it will happen now.

Edit: Looks like it's been addressed already, didn't show up here.

Can you remember how you added the & ? was it in the original post and then you saw the bug, or did it appear after editing, and if so did you use the edit button or double click on the post to edit it? Thanks

Think I may have a missing post here:

http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/260504.page

unless it was deleted.

Noticed this around 14.50 GMT.

The strange text appeared in the original post, on both the line for Gryphon Games and Dragon's Lair, as they were pasted from the GW website (maybe an encoding conflict?).

Page has been edited since, but should still contain the text in question:
