Hi
This might sound like a newb question, but how do you guys transport deffcopters.
Without breaking the rotor blades.?

Its hard to be awesome, when your playing with little plastic men.

If you think your important, in the great scheme of things. Do the water test.
Put your hands in a bucket of warm water,
then pull them out fast. The size of the hole shows how important you are.
I think we should roll some dice, to see if we should roll some dice, To decide if all this dice rolling is good for the game.

I have one of those deep well black and decker nuts and bolts cases. It holds them, and buggies and kans pretty well. Even a pair of trucks. of course you have to add your own padding for painted models. But for unpainted ones they fit nicely.

Hope more old fools come to their senses and start giving you their money instead of those Union Jack Blood suckers... |

I use a sabol case. Miniature cases are pricey and most people would rather spend the money on miniatures, but if you invest in a good case you won't be sorry.

You have to learn how to make your own custom-cases. For example, I take a strong cardboard box (not a shoebox, those are weak) and then insert cardboard dividers into it (you can cut up a cereal box for the dividers, whatever, man).
Each Kopta gets its own section so it isn't bumping into all the other ones.
There are lots of variations on this theme, but it can be tough trying to buy a case with JUST the right sized compartments in it.
That's my advice. Good luck, and let us know what you end up doing.

I'm THIS close to ordering a battlefoam 1520.... $300 for a case may seem like alot, but i've spent twice that on my army, and factor in my time to paint it... $300 doesn't seem so bad anymore.

I use Sabol cases, exclusively... and the coptas were a problem. However, I work in a computer environment and get access to foam packing sheeting. Sometimes as much as 2 inches thick. So, I made my own trays..
It really helped that my rotors and bases come off.. upside down, the bases slide their poles down into holes I cut, and all the rotors stack on top of each other
