The Last Stand DLC is out today!
It's due out later tonight, and when it arrives should update your current install automatically.
There's a video feature here.
Will you be going for survival, or high score?

Is this region specific? I'm not seeing the update on steam yet either.

Well it's half 10 now, no DLC as far as my eyes can reach!
But of course that depends on the timezone.

I'm hour behind on you and the limeys are two behind. My guess is somewhere around nine or ten Greenwich. Automatically Appended Next Post: Update is out now but the Steam servers are too busy to update my game or even start it.

It's damn good, but you really need to keep the people with high lag and latency out.

Anyone made it past the big eldar wave at 9 or so yet? Are you supposed to hide in the buildings or something? Automatically Appended Next Post: Finally made it to level 10 with a lot of mega-rumblahs on the eldar at 9

Rotting Sorcerer of Nurgle
|
I started playing 2 days ago.
I'm only at lvl 14, but good fun.
I've only been able to reach Wave 18.
I mainly focus on a teleporting Mek, lots of fun. Getting out of trouble, kiting, circling around and rezzing members.
So far I'm:
*Big Shoota (decent all-round gun).
*Teleport Armor (cheap teleport cost, so you can spam it)
*Trophy Rack (cause I get close sometimes, and I don't have enough energy to use Roks effectively).
*Sturdy Bitz, no knock back.
*Extra armor item.
The last item is a toss up.
*Energy Pack for Eldar ally.
*Reactive Healing for general purpose.
*Area stun if there's lots of non-immediate AOE.
But, one of the most fun items are the Reactive Teleport armor... and the Death Bomb...
|
This is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.
Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.

Ooo nice combo, I use the Burna, eavy armor, sturdy bits, cyborg parts and the uge kaboom and the rock. I finde the mekboy a bit repetative to play but still great fun. Im lvl 19

Anshal heh, you are more of an upclose player, but with no porting don't you end up in combat.
Nice, repetitive yes, but it's hard to put it down, esp. when both team members are dead, you spend 5 mins circling around plinking away, until you get in a good position, rez everyone and then good to go for the next round.
Other than that, I like the mass teleport of the eldar, esp. porting bodies to behind doors and such.
Though I do want to try these some day:
-3 Porting shoota meks.
-3 Marine players with 3 dreads.
Just for the lulz.
Yea, farseer is only at lvl 2, while the SM is only at 10/11? Which ever before the plasma gun.
Was fun doing the ultra tank/regen, until wave 16.........................ugh.........
I remember a game, 2 ultra tanks with auto rez....sheesh.
