What the title says, be wary though that the Steam servers are overloaded and it may take a while to get it downloaded and you game started.

Exactly where on steam do you download this? I'm in the mood to stomp some xeno ass after finishing this paper on WW2.

I have had good luck with Steam, getting around 1mb download speeds, I do not even know how large the update was, it was downloaded before I finished looking at the 5 or 6 Steam ads. I gave in and got DoW I Platnium so I could have all my DoW games on Steam.

It's a co-op thing. Last Stand has generated a good bit of positive feedback in some other forums I've read, although later levels can get very difficult if you don't hit on a creative way to beat them.

We kept getting stuck at level 9 sadly, where we got spammed by Banshees, support platforms and Warp Spiders.

Goooooood fun though.

I remember there being a thread over at the SomethingAwful forums where the some of the guys were walking about that very same level. Don't recall how they got past it though.

Tell your farseer team mate to confusion the banshees , and watch them slaughter the warp spiders.
then in turn watch platform slaughter the banshee.

All at the same time you go kekeke and go melee the weapon team which they cant even scratch you.

Grey_Death and I played a bit of Last Stand last night. Fun times, but we were also getting slaughtered on Wave 9.

After playing last stand, this very much reminds me of the Arena in Fable 1 & 2. Stand in the middle with wave after wave of unites coming getting progressively harder.

Man I wish my laptop could run this game, this looks like great fun to play with some Dakkites.

Booyah, made it to wave 17 before croaking time and again, my brother's teleporting Mek really is a lifesaver.

Just finished wave 20, the last 3-4 waves are intense...
Really do like Last stand, I just wish they had made a few different maps. I'm hoping that it's going to prove popular enough that they add the rest of the heroes at some point...even though I do love the mek.

The Mek with a big shoota and the telly-porta is the best in the bunch, my brother kept zapping all over the map when he was the last one standing, slowly whittling away the enemy while finding a good moment to revive my Astartes ass.

Keep getting stuck on Wave 9 myself. And in the three or so times Ive beaten it, I get wiped out on Wave 10, lol

Playing the Farseer, fun times, but I cant wait to give the Mekboy a go when my mate gets around to downloading the patch

Can you LAN this or is it a steam only thing?
