Euhm, not really a fan, they look simply dwarf fleshed with red splattered on it ...

I think that's a bit of an understatement... These look really good, like real monsters... not exactly the way a genestealer should look but they're a nice take! Look real chitinous, but I think the exposed flesh should be darkened a bit...

Thanks for the comments guys. My main carapace colour for the army is a dark green. I was thinking of painting the body like the carapace. Do you think it's a good idea?

I think a bit of highlighting and adding some details would work wonders on them. Bring out the teeth with a thin layer of bleached bone, highlight the carapace with some skull white etc. That said you have made a good start.

I'd be tempted to give them all a Devlan Mud wash to give a bit more definition to the raised areas. It's very quick to do and very effective.

As much as it is fun to do all the gore, try to save it for the end!
