I have about 2.500 or 3.000p of orks and yesterday I've been started to paint that green tide (includes 6 biker nobz, 3 BW, 3 trukks, 150 boyz, 15 lootas, 2 KFF meks, 9 deffkoptas, 2 dreads...).

I started with the deffkoptas. These are the firts miniatures that I'll paint (13 years playing and I painted no more than 3 spiece of panzee dungons, 5 skavens and 3 Beakies). So please be patient and delicated with me biggrin2.gif blushork2.gif

I'm trying to paint a kult of speed army with a few bad moon boyz (I really like that yellow!). And I really apreciate ideas about how to continue and how to improve my tecnique and miniatures.

Blimey. 3000 points of unpainted orks! Good luck. The kopta looks like a good start.

Thanks for the comments.
Maybe 3.000-3.200. Half of the army unassembled.

Honestly I loved the whole rust effect on the kopta and most of the model. My only grip is the shinny-ness of the ork skin. I kinda personally dispise when people do that as opposed to a nice duller dirtier catachan skin built up to. Just my own take on it but looking great can't wait to see more of them.(yes I know some of those are not words people run with it)

Listen, my children, as I pass onto you the truth behind Willy Wonka and his factory. For every wonka bar ever created in existance, Mr. Wonka sacraficed a single Oompa Loompa to the god of chocolate, Hearshys. Then, he drank the blood of the fallen orange men because he fed them a constant supply of sugary chocolate so they all became diabetic and had creamy, sweet-tasting blood that willy could put into each and every Wonka bar. That is the REAL story behind willy wonka's Slaughter House!

Wow, 3000 unpainted points. You will be busy.

That kopta looks really nice, and I think the ork skin would be fine with a layer of dullcoat or matte varnish. As for your painboy/warboss, my main concern is size: it's not immediately apparent who the warboss is in the mob, as he is not much bigger than the nobz. Maybe a torso-swap as well would bulk him up a bit?

Looking forward to seeing this army progress, early beginnings look promising.

Cool. Make sure you break up those enormous areas of metal on the trukk though, otherwise it might look a bit monotonous. Good to see progress, keep up the great work.
