My friend and I are playing a game on friday and he told me about an he had about some sort of portable barricade.
We whittled it down to:

2+ or 3+ inv save.

Slow and purposeful.

10pts-15pts per model.

Tau grubbins to represent shield generator or somthing.

Your thoughts please

I think it should be a 4+ invulnerable save! 2+ invul is really rare, as is 3+.

Also, there are so many 4+ invulnerable saves available from cover, he might just want to try deploying the terrain so he can take advantage of that

If he only has one devilfish, it's going to be hard to keep things alive, even with saves. I was in that situation and had tons of trouble... I'm up to five devilfish now. It makes a big difference!

why doesn't he just leapfrog his fire warriors? saving him plenty of of fire power.
and how is 3+ invun rare? almost everyone at my wargaming club uses noob marines and all the terminators have those frakking storm shields with guess what?? 3+ invun saves
