Ok so I do warhamer, 40k, FOW, all sorts of historical, but namely socializing. I am looking for like minded relaxed players who are just as sound kicking it and building models as playing a good game. Im hoping to slowly form a club out of it. Drop me a line here or PM me. I currently live in central mass.

Listen, my children, as I pass onto you the truth behind Willy Wonka and his factory. For every wonka bar ever created in existance, Mr. Wonka sacraficed a single Oompa Loompa to the god of chocolate, Hearshys. Then, he drank the blood of the fallen orange men because he fed them a constant supply of sugary chocolate so they all became diabetic and had creamy, sweet-tasting blood that willy could put into each and every Wonka bar. That is the REAL story behind willy wonka's Slaughter House! |

Hey there!
Central Mass, 'eh? Well, once I again I must regret Danger Planet's closing. It was in Waltham until this Spring, and was an excellent store.
There are a couple of places in the Boston area, though I don't get to them. The Toy Soldier in Amesbury, and Pandemonium Books & Games in Central Square, Cambridge both have regular events.
Two other spots I can recommend are in neighboring states.
The Game Castle is up in Londonderry, NH. That’s my local store, for league nights every Tuesday evening. It’s a good store, with lots of gaming space and permanent tables. They have a pretty good number of Saturday events, which would probably be worth the drive for you. Check out their website. I also listed this month and next month’s tournaments in the “tournament listings” thread. They have other events, like megabattles and painting days and such too. There are also a very nice little Chinese/Japanese place literally next door (the doors are within 10’ of one another), and other good options in the same plaza.
The Warsmith is in East Hartford, CT, which would probably be a similar drive for you (maybe closer or farther, depending on where exactly in Central Mass you are). It’s a great little store where I’ve recently played in a tournament. The owner’s great, the store and terrain are good, and there’s a great wing place next door. You can’t lose.

In Hadley there is Off the Wall Games, where my club plays on Wednesday Nights. There are usually a bunch of us there, it's easy to find a game no matter what you play. We have regular tournaments and events there, they also have a bunch of regular tables (8) with the ability to add more at any time.

I dig how in a setting where giant, muscled fungus men ride Mad Max cars and use their own teeth as currency, the concept of little engineering dudes with beards was considered a step too far down the aisle of silliness. ADB |

Good amount of socilizing done at Adler Hobby on the mass NH state line on just of RT 3, Tuesdays we play a bunch of stuff FOW A&A naval ,AT-43, Magic and have a good following from our friends at Danger Planet, Our First monday of the month is popular for folks who travel and cant make the every tueday night game due to time and work.
Adler is a small but clean place with some nice sceniced gaming tables thiers a nice sub shop around the corner we try ordering every game night by 6- 6:30 which is fun cause we get to sit around the dinner table and kick it! We then often game till late often times past midnight this makes it nice for folks who have traveled to finish thier games. consider yourself invited!

The Lunenburg crew is a good time of old school Dakkites from the days when Dakka was a store, and right off Route 2.
The Adler crew has a cool store, but you need to schedule games carefully to insure you have opponents.
I met Scarab & his Lunenburg bunch through Dakka & there is a wide diversity of players; some have only played 1-2 games and some have been playing for years & years. They are really involved with campaigns & you're guarenteed a biweekly game.
