I know that Space Marines generally call one another "Brother" (or "Brother-Sergeant," or whatever is appropriate). What do they call their Scouts, since they're not yet full brothers?
Thank you once again, Dakka. I know it's a silly question, but it's of paramount importance for our upcoming =][= game.

It depends on the chapter itself. But they're usually called Brother or maybe even Brother-scout. They are marines, their black carapace just hasn't fully formed yet so they can't interact with the armour properly.
But, like I said, it depends a lot on the chapter as not all chapters have their scouts as the new recruits.

Thanks for the info, n0t_u. I suppose I could've specified that I was looking for info on Blood Angels, now that I think about it. I know some chapters don't have their new recruits act as scouts, but I believe the Blood Angels are one of the chapters who do.

I think Blood Angels would have their own term for it. I'll quickly check the Codex. Automatically Appended Next Post: Can't find anything in the Codex for it, it will definitely be in any books focusing on them though.

It depends on the Chapter.
A Wimpy chapter like the Ultramarines will probably call them Brother-Scout.
A Mad Chapter like the Black Templars call them Neophytes (Previously known as "Meatshield")
An Awesome Chapter like the Spess Wholves call them Nutters.

Righto! Thanks again for the info. I'll assume then that the Blood Angels call them "Kiddo," but I'll try to get my hands on a book to make sure.
