I used to play Warhammer Fantasy a lot, and also got a little 40k in during 3d edition... 'bout 10 games vs. my bro's Eldar. I bought the Salamander box-set during the days of Armageddon. and after about 7 years, I still haven't even unpacked the landraider that was included!
Also played Chronopia (I think 1st edition) for a short while, also a very good game, not nearly as much magic as Warhammer 5th edition (herohammer).In this game there were however other balance issues to complain about (hail or arrows, elf magic)... and it was a warband game with d20's for dice. played a few proxy games with my brother but quickly lost interest because Warhammer got new stuff... and new editions.
the past few years have been mostly WHFRP, and now my group switched to Cyberpunk 203x... a hard game to get into as not a single player of CP 2020 found it worth his while... too much changes... and consequently, you can't find any resources on the web for 203x.
how did I get here? a google raid for WHFB 5th edition material... I'm feeling nostalgic lately.
