Hi, I'm building myself an Empire Captain on a Pegasus, but I was wondering what base size is used for it?

The only Empire character with a Pegasus is Balthasar Gelt, who looks like he's on a 50x50mm base, but the Brettonian Pegasus knights come on a 40x40mm base. Which would it be?

Whichever size the model comes on when you buy it.

Just like older terminators are on 25mm bases whilst modern ones are on 40mm. It's just a case of what you get in the box.

Instead of Balthasar, use Morathi with his rules. You can paint her "armour" gold if it makes it more convincing.

I'm both orderly and rational. I value control, information, and order. I love structure and hierarchy, and will actively use whatever power or knowledge I have to maintain it. At best, I am lawful and insightful; at worst, I am bureaucratic and tyrannical.

I find passive aggressive messages in people's signatures quite amusing.

This is for the Empire Captain/General on a Pegasus, which doesn't have an official model.

To confuse things more, there's another base size. The cheapest option is to convert from the normal Brettonian Pegasus Knight, but we have:

Bret Pegasus Knight: 40x40mm base
Balthasar Gelt: 50x50mm base
Morathi: 50x50mm base
Brettonian Lord/Noble on Pegasus: 25x50mm base (cavalry).

I would err on the side of the 50 x 50 base which is the standard base for small monsters. Morathi and Gelt are good examples.

Pegasus Knights are a flying unit, so not technically monsters & The Bretonnian Noble is an older model I believe.

Ok, thanks for that. Looks like that's a good standard, I'll make him on one of the many 50mm bases I have lying around!

I've only ever seen it on a 40mmx40mm base, just like great eagles, and bret pegasus knghts, and terradons.
