Is anyone else out there having them?

When I only had Broken Steel and The Pitt I really did not have many but now that all are loaded, Mothership Zeta was fine but Operation: Anchorage is completely unplayable and Point Lookout seems to freeze very often as well.

I am looking to commiserate with others (and to know I am not alone) so that I can hope for a patch at some point.

Yes, I am going to shoot an email to Bethesda, for what it is worth.

Don't misunderstand the DLCs (as far as content and what they add to the game) are great stuff! Actually, Point Lookout runs okay, I had a few issues at first but they seemed to have straightened out (knock on wood). Operation: Anchorage however, so far is still unplayable. I begin the second mission and it is always a constant studdering process. And I am talking 20-30 second stutters and then it just locks-up. Oh well. I have read others have frustration with them on the PS3 but nothing specific or relative to anything else. Actually, with the exception of O:A I have relatively few errors compared to some internet whiners. Ohwell. Here (still) to hoping for a patch.

This IS a Bethesda game mind you, they are supposed to be buggy as hell.

Yeah but not unplayable. I'm okay with the occasional freeze or stutter. I guess, when it comes right down to it, I want that damn Gauss Gun and I can't get it.

I know what you mean, I play it on the PC and most of the time I suffer from crashes and glitches that send my system into a solid lock.

I will be getting the GOTY edition soon-ish.

My room mate just got it and it's still buggy. anywhere outside of the wasteland freezes constantly. we thought it might be the most recent update but I guess this is one time where the PS3 is actually more buggy than the 360.

Having played them on the 360 (except for Mothership Zeta, which I skipped for now), the only trouble I had was with Point Lookout, which did seem to start to lag, skip and eventually freeze after playing for a while.

I just started getting in the habit of saving all the time, then quitting and restarting, which would seem to solve the issue for a while.

But no issues at all with Operation: Anchorage, for me on the 360, at least.


Oh, and the Gauss gun sucks! It's fun, but it takes way to long to reload (and has to be done after every shot), and its knock-back ability is inconsistent. With some enemies they get knocked on their ass everytime you hit them (which gives you time to reload the next shot), but with some enemies they just walk right through the shot leaving you totally helpless while you reload.

At first I tried to keep using it just for fun value, but then I just gave up and stuck with more reliable weapons that can deal a similar amount of damage but don't have to reload every time you shoot them.

I and mates have had no problem with the PS3 DCL version, a couple of stutter but nothing else.

I was considering buying the game for my PS3 then getting the expansions, but now am a little wary.

A little update for my friends PS3: I tried to start the mothership Zeta quest but it failed on me- not froze failed. at the point where the guide says you go unconscious and wake up in a cell nothing happens.
